Milford Robotics is a central resource to foster the growth of STEM initiatives in the city, and will focus on participation in FIRST <https://www.firstinspires.org/> robotics programs.

For the 2022-23 FIRST competition season, we have two middle school teams competing in SUPERPOWERED (FIRST Lego League Challenge).  We also have one FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team, Milford MOJO.

Milford Robotics is currently looking for sponsors to help support these teams. Funds donated to the Milford Education Foundation and earmarked for Milford Robotics will go towards the annual budget for FRC team, which includes the financial support for our town FLL teams.   The 2023 FRC budget is $45,000 and includes registration fees, robot materials, travel costs and more.  It also allows us to advance STEM education in our town and beyond.

We are also looking for potential FRC mentors, particularly in the fields of Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Multimedia Production.  Mentors who can assist in preparing grant and scholarship applications are also needed.  If you are interested in getting involved with any of these programs please contact Kristopher Seluga - kseluga@mefrobotics.org.
