The Milford Education Foundation (MEF) is excited to announce the return of its popular biennial Chair-ity Auction! Ten beautiful hand-made and hand painted Adirondack chairs will be on the virtual auction block beginning Saturday, August 28th through noon Sunday, September 12th.
Built by students at Milford’s Jonathan Law High School (JLHS) and specially painted by students within the Arts Departments at JLHS and Joseph Foran High School, they are one-of-a-kind pieces of functional art+furniture.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards MEF's annual mini-grant program. Since MEF's creation in 2014, we've provided $78,000 in grants for Milford Public Schools educators and administration. These have included mural projects, unique personal finance simulation software, bridging the technology gap with seniors and students, plein-air painting workshops, programmable micro-bots, and much, much more.
